The proposed funding will facilitate the implementation of a telehealth platform specifically designed for Alaska's remote communities, offering online therapy services that are accessible from the comfort and privacy of home. Individuals with limited mobility or those living in areas without available healthcare providers will greatly benefit from this immediate access to mental health services. Eligibility for this initiative will include individuals receiving care under Medicaid or those uninsured, prioritizing marginalized communities who traditionally lack resources.
